Brewing Connection☕

Are you a coffee person?

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee spreads through the air, drawing our attention, like a warm hug approaching us. Have you ever imagined the similarity between coffee and attachment?

Coffee with rich flavors and distinctive aromas, like cappuccino, Americano, and espresso reminds me of different people. The steam rising and the aroma bring us joy. When we try coffee, the taste might bring comfort, making us needy, and later, we'll get addicted to it. We can't even start our day without it. Whenever we feel stressed or frustrated, coffee can bring comfort like a person ; a warm hug.

A new routine starts, providing comfort and a warm presence. Some people love their coffee in expensive cups someone with sugar and someone without sugar. Distinct people and distinct taste. However, excessive consumption of caffeine can lead to hormonal changes and altered sleep patterns. Daily intake of coffee can cause tooth stains. We know the consequences, but many of us still choose to stay with this habit for the temporary joy it provides.

Attachments are similar. It's like our daily coffee mix,we crave them even when they harm us .A person becomes part of our life, then a habit. Like the aroma of coffee, their presence may bring joy, making us addicted to it. Later, that person may cause scars in our life that can't be erased, like coffee stains. Even though we know the threat, we still choose to be with them. We might have a strong emotional connection, making it difficult to let go. Just like our relationship with coffee, attachments can be multifaceted and complex. We choose to avoid the negatives to be with them, opting for the little joy over the scars left behind. But sometimes we may need a coffee ,a person to accompany us in our journey..

We trade our scars for the little joy ,like the bitter taste of coffee remaining after the comfort.
